Do you have TGA on your products?
All HygiMed Australia products meet relevant TGA criteria for listing on the ARTG. We can provide you with a Technical Data Sheet for any of our TGA listed products. Speak to a HygiMed sales representative for more information.
Can you provide Technical Information on a product?
All products that require registration with the TGA have a Technical Data Sheet (TDS). This includes information about the product, packaging details, evidence of certifications and product testing. Speak to a HygiMed sales representative for more information.
Do you provide free samples for fit testing?
We offer free clinical samples to qualified customers who are looking at a bulk order or an ongoing supply commitment with HygiMed. Get in touch with our team to find out if you qualify.
Who do you sell to?
HygiMed products are sold wholesale to public/private hospitals, government health departments, medical centers, aged care, education, private sector businesses and via distributors who supply healthcare and other retail channels.

What are your freight costs?
We deliver products using a number of local freight operators. Shipping costs are influenced by the size and weight of the product and your location. If you are ordering online, the shipping costs are calculated in the shopping cart and will be added to the order total before checkout. Otherwise they will be estimated in a quote.
Where can you deliver to?
HygiMed Australia can deliver to both residential and business addresses across Australia. We do not deliver to PO boxes.
What are your delivery timeframes?
Orders for products held in stock are typically dispatched within 1-2 business days. Shipping times are estimated at between 2 - 3 days for metro regions and 5 - 7 business days for regional areas. Western Australia Metro & Regional may take longer than 7 days due to transit times. For shipping timeframes on indent products, please speak with a HygiMed representative.
What is the minimum order quantity?
HygiMed exists to serve our bulk wholesale customers, therefore our minimum order quantity is 1 carton. We do not break cartons for smaller order requests, or sell directly to consumers. We offer tiered pricing, with volume discounts, and can also facilitate the import of full container loads of specific products, if requested.

How many pieces are in a carton?

Which of your products combat the issue of fogging glasses?
HygiMed have a range of products that combat fogging. These include our fog-free PivotPro mask with adjustable visor, anti-fog safety goggles and face shields. Please contact your HygiMed sales representative for more information.
Do HygiMed surgical gowns and aprons contain latex?
HygiMed products are latex free, and not manufactured with natural rubber latex.

What is ISO accreditation?
ISO is an acronym for the International Organization for Standardization. Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, ISO is a worldwide federation of national standards charged with developing standards for industry much like the ASTM in the United States. One of the standards developed by ISO is for Quality Systems. This set of standards, referred to as ISO 9000 Quality Systems, is intended to provide a ‘generic core of quality system standards applicable to a broad range of industry and economic sectors’. What is NIOSH?
NIOSH is an acronym for the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health– a division of the CDC established by the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. NIOSH is a research, rather than regulatory, agency – focussed on conducting research and making recommendations for the prevention of work-related injuries.
What is personal protective equipment or PPE?
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is defined as “specialised clothing or equipment worn by an employee for protection against a hazard. General work clothes (e.g., uniforms, pants, shirts or blouses) not intended to function as protection against a hazard are not considered to be personal protective equipment.” Personal protective equipment will be considered “appropriate” only if it does not permit blood or other potentially infectious substances and contaminated materials to pass through to or reach an employee’s work clothes, street clothes, undergarments, skin, eyes, mouth, or other mucous membranes under normal conditions of use and for the duration of time the protective equipment is in use.
